Following on from the great success of the Makers & Artists Market held in December 2017, another market has been planned to warm up Autumn at the Museum of Innocence, 31-33 Deakin Avenue, Mildura on the weekend of 26-27 May, 2018 from 10am-3pm.
There will be range of stalls showcasing the work of local artists and makers, including quite a few artists, designers and musicians featured on the Makers and Artists Mildura website. Stalls will include local composer/musician Merrilyn Air with her latest album “Flow”; Jayne Bawden, local ceramicist and teacher at Mildura Pottery Club; Dee Craig, artist, sculptor and gold and silversmith based in Wentworth; a number of Gallery F artists working across a broad range of mediums; beautiful stoneware pieces from Penni Q Pottery; colourful one-off hand-painted ceramic jewellery and handmade bowls and tiles from Screaming Girl Designs; the latest range of stunning fashions from the Josephene label, created and designed right here in Mildura, and some live music performances throughout the weekend. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome. This market provides a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists and creators in person, browse their works, enjoy live music and a great ambience in a magnificent setting at the Museum of Innocence. We look forward to seeing you at the Autumn Makers & Artists Market in Mildura.
